Willow
Willow
There were two large weeping willow trees flanking both sides of our backyard in my early childhood home. My Willow line is inspired by their warm earthy colors, with long ochre yellow legs on a jade green base.

Peacock
Peacock
Inspired by the vibrant symmetry of peacock feathers, this line features warm earthtones intermingling with vibrant blues. The glazes swirl and crystallize together to create intricate details that are set off by the contrasting tenmoku rim.

Juniper
Juniper
Inspired by juniper trees and their berries, this line features a vibrant green glaze that ranges from deep forest to bright primary. In combination with the beading I apply around the rim, the secondary glaze flows through with a subtly sparkling blend of silvery blue and creamy yellow. The soft semi-matte glazing and beading together create a pleasant tactile experience.
Food-safe for daily use
All White Willow pottery is made with 100% food-safe materials. I use durable cone 10 stoneware (or white stoneware for the Juniper line) to create pottery that can safely be used in the microwave, and dishwasher. As with most pottery, it is also oven safe but should never be broiled or shocked—moved directly from the cold fridge to the hot oven. Preheating your pottery with your oven is a good precaution.
